Vijay Bichkar, PEng PQS MBA President of Mega Group brings with him solid 20 years Canadian Experience working with leading construction companies like Ciro Excavating (Excavation for TTC Don Mills Subway with Walters as GC), Torcom Construction ($1m to $20m many new schools and major school additions for Peel, Dufferin, Halton, Toronto, Simcoe school boards; Upgrades at TTC Davisville, North York, Castle Frank, Kipling Stations); Bird Construction ($3.9m York University Accolade, $5m Michael Angelo’s Marketplace, $40m McMaster University Technology Centre, $100m Roy McMurty Youth Correction Centre); Sherritt International of Toronto (US$4.2b world’s largest Nickel and Coblat Ambatovy project at Madagascar). 10 years International experience includes Madina Qaboos Palace for Sultan of Oman, Al-Khod Township at Oman, 22 storey State Assembly Building for Government of Maharashtra.
In last 3 years, Mega Group has successfully completed retail, commercial projects upto $3m working as a General Contractor and also worked as a subcontractor (200K to $1m) on larger $10m plus institutional projects such as library, new schools, major school additions, health care renovations etc.
